The Tunisian wrestling champion Marwa Amri won the gold medal in the category of 67 Kgs, against the Nigerian Passience Abouane (10/0) during the African Championship, held in Morocco from 17 to 22 May,
This is the 12th consecutive gold medal for Marwa Amri at the African Championships. The 33-year-old holds a total of 21 medals in her career, including a bronze medal in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and two silver medals in Tarragone 2018 Mediterranean games and 2017 world wrestling championship held in Paris.
