Asma Jdidi, a Doctor in the Intensive Care Unit, and member of the Tunisian Space Association, presents the theme of Entrepreneurship in space. Her first lectures were about investment in space.
What Jdidi represents is conceived as a premium in the field of investment. Accordingly, some people may consider this idea as science fiction. However, it could lead to prosperity and development in our modern society. As such the utility of the satellite is seen in bank operations, navigation systems that conduct air flights, and many other domains. In addition to that, many companies’ activities in this field note remarkably huge profits. As a result, such investment contributes to sustainable development, economic prosperity and employment creation. A good example of this is private companies: located in North Africa, such as the Tunisian Company “Telnet” which launched its first Tunisian commercial satellite. Hence, such investments and innovative ideas are of good use, especially in regions with low internet speed.
Asma Jdidi is a role model as she brings to the fore inspiring and innovative ideas. Her lecture on Entrepreneurship incites passionate people to dig and learn more about it. Not only that but also encourages them to discuss and elaborate their ideas.
